Alchemy Entry-Exit Strategy

This strategy is used to create a long or short position on the chart based on a date, time and entry price specified by user-defined inputs in order to match a real time open position which then can be monitored with any other exit strategy. This strategy will search for the specified entry price for a number of bars until it is found. If the specified entry price is not found at the end of the search, the strategy will enter into a position at market, therefore never missing an open position but at the same time giving it the flexibility of picking precise entry prices to match real time situations.

It also can be used to place a limit or stop entry order starting with the current bar or it can be used to quickly enter at market from the current bar.

Once an entry is established, the strategy then monitors and manages the open positions with an initial protective stop loss, break even stop, trailing stop, profit target exit and number of bars exit.
