Download your Alchemy strategy file: Click on ProgramDownload_PRST-dst.htm Read and agree to our terms and conditions listed. In the "File Download" window, click on "Save". In the "Save As" window, click on "My Documents" and click on "Save".
Import your Alchemy strategy: From your TradeStation 9/10 platform, click on "File" - "Import/Export Easy Language...". In the "Import/Export Wizard" window, select "Import EasyLanguage file (ELD, ELS or ELA)" and click on "Next". In the "Import Wizard" window, click on "Browse". In the "Open" window, click on My Documents. Hover with your mouse pointer over the downloaded file and make sure that the file size is within a few kb of the file size indicated in the previous "File Download" window. If the file size is much smaller, please re-download this file until it is the correct size, otherwise this file will not import properly. If the file size is confirmed, select the downloaded file and click on "Open". This takes you back to the "Import Wizard" window. Then click on "Next". Continue to click on "Next" and then "Finish". In the “Warning” message (Overwrite existing?) click on “Yes to all”. |

Workspace for TradeStation 9/10: |

After downloading and importing your Trading Alchemy studies into your TradeStation as explained above, save the workspace below directly into the My Work directory (Program Files\TradeStation\MyWork) on your hard drive as follows:
Click on the tsw workspace link and select "Save
Target As".
Do not open this
file! If your Browser is defaulted to
automatically open a link when clicking on it, as a
safety precaution, please right click on each
workspace link and select "Save Link As..." Click on Save. Open TradeStation. Open your downloaded workspaces as follows: Click on File > Open Workspace Navigate to your Desktop, select the downloaded workspace and click on Open. Resave your opened workspace into your MyWork directory as follows: Click on File > Save Workspace as Navigate to your c:\Program Files\TradeStation...\MyWork directory and click on Save Delete the originally downloaded workspace from your desktop.
This creates a sample workspace that can be opened from TradeStation via File > Open Workspace and that can be used as a template. |
